About

I am a student in my final year of a degree at London College of Fashion.

For my final project I plan on creating a marketing campaign for an online fashion retailer, to introduce the use of a broader range of models (varying shape and size), so that customers can see how clothes will fit someone of their shape!

I am extremely passionate about the use of models in the fashion industry and believe that a more diverse range of models should be used throughout the industry to show that everyone, no matter what shape, size, race can be fashionable. You just need to take into account what suits you – so that you always look your best!

This is the way forward for the industry and I hope someday in the future, people will sit up and take notice.

Why does such a fabulous industry want to make a large proportion of the general public feel bad about themselves, because they don’t quite fit into the ‘perfect’ mould! At the end of the day, nobody is perfect and as the Sugababes chanted in their hit ‘Ugly’, ‘People are all the same and we only get judged by what we do’!!!

So forget perfection and lets all be happy with who we are, right now today!! Enjoy!!

    Well done Sarah
It is about time the fashion industry recognised who their market are and did not alienate the vast majority of normal, beautiful women. Good luck.
